Who we are

More than a shoe repair shop

Heel & Sole Man is a specialist repair and personalisation business with three stores across Brisbane, in Sherwood, Capalaba and The Gap. Heel & Sole Man has been a trusted neighbourhood presence since 1997, built around the belief that things worth owning are worth repairing.

What began as a focused shoe repair service has grown into a full suite of everyday services. Heel & Sole Man repairs leather bags, belts and wallets, cuts keys, replaces watch batteries, engraves trophies and nameplates, and supplies automotive and garage door remotes. The range of services reflects the reality of how people use the stores: as a dependable local stop for whatever needs fixing or personalising.

The same care applied to a worn-down heel goes into every other job. Heel & Sole Man uses quality materials throughout and takes the time to get each repair right, whether the item is a pair of dress shoes or a favourite handbag brought in for a second life.

Our history

27 years serving Brisbane communities

Heel & Sole Man opened its doors in 1997 with a clear purpose: to offer Brisbane residents skilled, honest shoe repairs at a fair price. In the years since, Heel & Sole Man has grown into three neighbourhood stores, each one staffed by people who know their customers by name.

The expansion into leather repairs, key cutting, watch servicing, engraving and automotive remotes happened naturally. Customers came in for a heel repair and asked about the bag strap that needed fixing, or the key that needed copying. Heel & Sole Man listened and expanded to meet those needs without ever losing sight of what the business was built on: skilled hands and genuine service.

Today Heel & Sole Man serves customers across Brisbane from stores in Sherwood, Capalaba and The Gap, open Monday to Saturday with extended Thursday trading hours until 7:30 pm.
